Privacy Policy

1. Data we collect

• Sensor data: accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, barometer, light, GPS and similar signals — only while you use the relevant screen.
• Wearable data: heart rate, steps, sleep, HRV, when you connect a device via Terra.
• Imported workouts: walks, runs, hikes and rides (time, distance, route, climb, heart rate) — only from sources you connect yourself: Apple Health / Health Connect (in the phone app, after the phone's own permission screen), Strava, a watch account through Terra, or FIT/GPX/TCX files you upload.
• Safety data: emergency contacts you add, live-location links you start, SOS messages and optional voice notes (deleted after 30 days).
• Community: profile name, short bio, who you follow, kudos and comments — only if you sign in and use the community.
• Location: GPS for routes, weather and reports.
• Account data: email, name, device identifiers (registry).
• Usage data: in-app events and error logs.

Health data and sharing — our rules

• Health and workout data is used only to give you your own activity records, reports, training load and safety features. It is never sold and never used for advertising.
• Activities are private or visible to followers you approved (default) — you choose per activity. Other people never see your exact start point; the first and last part of each track (default 200 m) is hidden from them.
• Activities imported from Strava are visible only to you and are not sent to AI services, as Strava's API terms require.
• AI features (coach, trip guide) send a summary of the facts needed for the answer to the AI provider only when you use them.
• Deleting your account deletes your activities, imports, community data, safety data and connections, and withdraws Sense's access to Strava.

3. Storage and security

Data is hosted on IONOS and processed on-device where possible. You may request export or deletion.

4. Third parties

WHT AI APIs may generate reports. OpenStreetMap-based routing, MET Norway weather (through our server, only map coordinates), open elevation tiles and Sentinel-2 satellite imagery (EOX) support the map (location coordinates or map tiles are requested from them, no account data). Terra and Strava deliver workouts you connect. E-mail is sent through Google (Gmail). We follow Google Play / App Store requirements, including Apple HealthKit and Google Health Connect rules.

• Children: not directed at users under 16.
• Changes: we may update this policy; material changes will be communicated.
